BIÉDE COLLECTION “CAFÉ” began with a story set in a near-future city where summer has grown longer. Through 《INU》, with its drooping-ear silhouette, and visuals photographed at café paro paro in Gaienmae, the collection traces the edges of memory and identity.
ELEMENT 29《INU》BLACK EDGE
Following 《NEKO》, BIÉDE turned from a cat's ears to the ears of a dog. The result is the genderless leather tote ELEMENT 29《INU》BLACK EDGE. The design concentrates on the ears rather than depicting the animal's face or body.
《INU》 is made from the same supple soft-grain cowhide as 《NEKO》. It is available in black and sized to hold a 14-inch MacBook Pro (W31.3 × H22.2 cm). Lifting either ear reveals an exterior pocket for glasses, sunglasses or other small objects.
From a near-future café
For each new release, BIÉDE writes an original short story that is shared by everyone involved in the visual production. “CAFÉ” takes place in a near-future café during a prolonged summer. A talking dog and an enigmatic figure play chess, look back at the past and consider memory, identity and the meaning of existence.
Photographed at café paro paro
The collection visuals were photographed at café paro paro in Gaienmae, which opened in July 2025. KLEINSTEIN directed and styled the project. Photography is by Tsukasa Kudo, designer of kudos and soduk; filming by NANIKA STUDIO; and video production by KANGHONG. Music by nouseslyo is layered with Faustine Tobée's multilingual reading and Erik Satie's piano music, a century after the composer's death.
LENNY appears with Mare, a black Labrador retriever. MAYUKA of WATER in Minamiaoyama created the hair and makeup, placing BIÉDE's yellow on the lips.
